The Wayward Life and Times of a Dipsy Doodle Dandy: A Hilarious Compendium of Stories Describing the Outrageous Antics of Teenagers During the Golden Era of Rock and Roll During the 1950 and 1960 by John Peaker

If a reader ever needs a pick-me-up, this is the go-to book.  The author writes with wit and hilarity-the only way to describe his style of writing.  He can make the reader imagine that he/she was there witnessing the whole, at times, sordid scene.  The author holds nothing back...literally.  He tells his tales with brutal and surprising honesty.

The book follows the author through the 1950's and 1960's, a reader not from that time period will find the book even more intriguing.  There are also pictures added to complete the readers' experience.  The pictures fit in perfectly with the story, very good choices that will add to the readers' understanding and laughter of what happened in the stories.

The book is a short read, but it ends with a bang and is guaranteed to evoke a funny reaction from the reader.  This book would be great for young adults/adults.
