Goodreads Summary

The sage advice, quotes, and amusing drawings in Horse Sayings: Wit and Wisdom Straight from the Horse’s Mouth are funny and inspiring. Humans and horses have a special relationship. Without horses, life as it exists now would be greatly altered. Until the automobile was widely perfected and made affordable, horses were the main mode of transportation. That horses help people understand life, relationships, and living well is an easy to see connection. Famous names such as Sir Winston Churchill, Walt Whitman, and Elizabeth Arden are featured. Their pithy insights about horses pass wise observations on to the reader.
This book's advice is meant for everyone. A love of horses is not necessary to enjoy the often funny quotes. Beautiful illustrations in Horse Sayings do horses honor by recognizing their graceful movement. Respected, established artist's and new artist's works are displayed, helping to reinforce the wording in the book by giving the quotes a visual  presentation too.
Adults and teens alike will enjoy Horse Sayings. The wise and quotable people whose horse-related adages fill the book can brighten anyone’s day and give a funny look into life.
