Romeo Redeemed (Juliet Immortal #2)

Seductive companion to the popular Juliet Immortal, in which former lovers—Romeo and Juliet—meet, not as true lovers, but truly as enemies.

Cursed to live out eternity in his rotted corpse, Romeo, known for his ruthless, cutthroat ways, is given the chance to redeem himself by traveling back in time to save the life of Ariel Dragland. Unbeknownst to her, Ariel is important to both the evil Mercenaries and the love-promoting Ambassadors and holds the fate of the world in her hands. Romeo must win her heart and make her believe in love, turning her away from her darker potential before his work is discovered by the Mercenaries. While his seduction begins as yet another lie, it soon becomes his only truth. Romeo vows to protect Ariel from harm, and do whatever it takes to win her heart and soul. But when Ariel is led to believe his love is a deception, she becomes vulnerable to Mercenary manipulation, and her own inner darkness may ultimately rip them apart.

Goodreads Summary

Stacey Jay has been one of my favorite authors since I first read Juliet Immortal last year.  I was thrilled to read and review Romeo Redeemed.  Romeo has suffered for hundreds of years because of mistakes he made as a young man in a terrible situation.  When given the chance to fight against the Mercenaries, Romeo eagerly accepts.  Romeo’s assignment is Ariel Dragland; he must make Ariel believe in love.  Cocky and confident, Romeo believes Ariel will easily fall for him and he is right.  The problem is that he is falling in love with her...and the Ambassador who offered him a chance to right some of the wrongs he committed may not be as good as she appears.
Romeo Redeemed is a book that is impossible to put down.  I could not stop reading and then reread the book as soon as I finished.  Stacey Jay’s writing is poetic and her storyline is brilliant.  Teen girls and young women will love Romeo Redeemed.  I give this novel five out of five stars.
