Jordan, the president’s daughter, has had a life where decisions were made for her. All of her decisions and actions are decided for her by other people. She has a boyfriend named Matthew and she loves that he doesn’t use her because of her status in society. One day, Matthew’s life is in danger and Jordan finds herself kidnapped by the evil Eryx. Eryx is trying to rule Hell by throwing over its leader and one part of his plan is to use the Presidents’ daughter as leverage for tainting his soul. Little did Eryx know, but Jordan is a descendent of Eve (the first women) before she sinned and ends up kicking his butt with a sudden transformation. This story revolves around Key, who’s basically the leader of the brothers who save her and fight Eryx.
I haven’t read the first book to Faegens’ The Mephisto Covenant series, but I can tell you it won’t be my last. All of the characters had amazing character growth. I rooted for Jordan and Key throughout the whole book. The relationship between the two wasn’t “oh my god, I love you!” which was good. They both had their demons they had to fight. Every page offered something that the reader could enjoy or invest in. The brothers all warmed my heart; they’re misguided and a little dark, but that’s what makes them so lovable! You just want to reach in the pages and hug every one of them.
Action was everywhere; every page captivated me. There were so many twists and turns, I never knew the outcome of any character before I read it. Sometimes, I thought to myself “Oh, this is going to happen.” but I always turned out wrong and it made my day awesome. Romance doesn’t disappoint. Some of the scenes surprised me with how mature they were. If you’re under the age of 18 just be warned that it gets a little… hot. I can honestly say this will be one of the top books I’ve read all year and I can’t wait to get my hands on the first!

So glad to see that you enjoyed this. I read it earlier this year and my reaction mirrored yours. The Mephisto books are really good and are one of the series I'm most excited to read when they release. I'm not sure HOW she'll top The Mephisto Kiss, but I'm excited to see each of these brothers get an equally awesome HEA.
