As the Lunar Chronicles continue, the reader has to get used to meeting more main characters.  Cress, a bit of a last-minute main character, arrives on the scene as an unusual girl who has had little to no company (being stuck on a satellite and all).  She has plenty of time on her hands and not enough to do; she became what many of this generation fears: a hacker.  Cress is given an order to find Cinder, but will she carry it out?  

I liked all of the characters; I was a little disappointed because I didn't get to read more about Cress.  Her time was split up similar to the rest and she was, unfortunately, in the last book in this series.  I would have loved to have met her prior.  Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder are all fun characters; Scarlet and Cinder have grown so much since when the first book began.  The reader will feel as if they are old friends.  

The plot was fast-paced and edgy.  I liked the feeling of suspense as the threat of Queen Levana waxed and waned.  The ending did not surprise me, but I found it a satisfying conclusion.  This book is recommended to teen/young adult readers.
