as a teen, but continues to struggle with his loss as an adult.  She hopes to gain closure by achieving her
brother’s dream of winning their home town’s annual regatta.  Though she cannot swim and does not
know how to sail, Madison is determined to honor her brother’s memory. 
Beckett O’Reilly has been in love with Madison since they were teens.  After a disastrous
attempt to ask Madison on a date results in her despising him, Beckett decides to ignore his feelings. 
However, when Madison needs his help, Beckett immediately agrees to assist her.  The romance and
personal growth that follow create a whirlwind plot; both characters find God and personal peace and
build a relationship.  Denise Hunter’s novel is well-written and has left me eager to read the rest of the
series.
