I think I'll go with Hogwarts. It's probably a common answer, but a magical castle in the middle of England, what's not to love?
-

Definitely The Vampire Academy(the academy) by Richelle Mead...

It's a toss-up between Lord of the Rings and Dune chronicles =)

So many! I love Sci-fi settings like The Host and Cinder, fantasy settings like Harry Potter and The Sword of Truth, Dystopian à la The Hunger Games and Divergent, Historical -- Outlander, Bloody Jack. The only backdrop I'm not particularly fond of is contemporary, haha.
-
I love novels that take place in a big city. As I'm from a small town, it's interesting to read about :-)
-
Hogwarts is one of my favorites. I also like any setting in an Austen novel.
-
I love dystopian settings like Delirium, Shatter Me, and Divergent! Thank you for the giveaway!

I love YA Paranormal books. Thinking back on my favorites, I would have to go with "Poison Study" and "Cinder." In "Poison Study," there is an unexpected romance with real, deep character development. I love the character of Valek. He appears to be inhuman only to be one of the very human characters in the story. In "Cinder," I appreciate how closely the author followed the fairytale of 'Cinderella' without being confined by it. There was still a lot of freedom in Marissa Meyer's universe and I kept find myself wondering how is she going to fit that into this story?
Thanks for the giveaway!

About Me
- Krystal Larson
- Chicago, Illinois, United States
- I'm a young college student who has probably read over 5000 books over the course of my short life; some of the books were classics, some of the books were terrific, and some of the books were...misses. Even with the latter part I will always believe in the power of books to completely remove the reader from his/her present reality. Long Live Books! I would love to read and review books from just about any genre. To contact me: edysicecreamlover18 AT gmail DOT com Thank you for your interest! At this time, I can only accept paperback or hardcover. The finished review copies I receive are either kept in my personal collection or donated to several libaries, schools, or charities-I have no control over the finished review copies after donation. *I claim no ownership for any images used on this site.
