At long last, New York Times bestselling author Gena Showalter unveils the story of Paris, the darkest and most tormented Lord of the Underworld .Possessed by the demon of Promiscuity, immortal warrior Paris is irresistibly seductive—but his potent allure comes at a terrible price. Every night he must bed someone new, or weaken and die. And the woman he craves above all others is the one woman he'd thought was forever beyond his reach until now. Newly possessed by the demon of Wrath, Sienna Blackstone is racked by a ruthless need to punish those around her. Yet in Paris's arms, the vulnerable beauty finds soul-searing passion and incredible peace. Until a blood feud between ancient enemies heats up.Will the battle against gods, angels and creatures of the night bind them eternally—or tear them apart?
Goodreads Summary
The Darkest Seduction is book nine in the series. This story follows the keeper of proximity, Paris. Since book two he’s been lusting after a woman named Sienna Blackstone. She is currently the keeper of Wrath, and trying to cope with the new life of being possessed by a demon. The book starts off where book eight – Strider and Kaia story – left off. Paris is trying to find Sienna by lying, cheating, and having blood on his hands. He doesn’t care who he kills or has sex with; he just wants to find the girl that he can lay with twice.
Paris is very different than the first time we met him. He’s darker, but in a bad boy sort of way. His goal is his woman, which is adorable (sigh). Sienna has also become darker, mostly because of Wrath. Cronos is holding her hostage and baiting her to stay with her long lost sister. Both Sienna and Paris have their own demons (besides the ones that are housed in them), and trying to find one another brings them out of their darkness.
This book is definitely a to-read book. Maddox and Ashlyns babies are born, which was a very touching scene. Darkest Seduction is the ending of many plots, and takes the readers into a whole different direction. Everything you know about the characters, war, locations… all of them are going to change. Darkest Seduction keeps you on your toes, and it gets hard to put the book down.
Another thing to note: William and Zacharel are both dominant characters as well. The next book that’s coming out is Gena’s spin off series “Angels of the Dark” which features the dangerous angel Zacharel. We read more about him, and gets us ready for the book coming out this summer. In my opinion, William is one of the best characters because of his humor. Gena made the right decision to make him the comic relief, because without him the book would become a little bit too dark and emo which is unappealing.
The next Lord will be Kane, the keeper of disaster. You’ll read an introduction to what he’s getting himself into, but he’s only mentioned a few times so there’s many ways the new direction can lead us.
If you are a Lord of the Underworld lover, you must, must, MUST read Darkest Seduction!

Great review. Thank you!
I have been dying to read this book. I have most of the other books from the series and have enjoyed them. But when it came to Paris losing Sienna, I just had to know what would happen next. I felt so bad for him when she died.

I haven't started this series yet but am definitely interested! I've heard mixed reviews about them though.

Great review! I just started reading this tonight! Loving it so far! Then again, LOTU is one of my favorite series! I love William. On the one hand I can't wait for his story but on the other I want him to stay single! I somehow knew that with all the angel books coming out lately Zacharel will get his own story. Will probably check that one out if it is as humorous as this series!
