Synopsis:
Fairy Tales are a part of everyone's life-from childhood sitting in bed while mom reads to the days when you become the parent reading to your children. These are NOT your average Fairy Tales, these are for grown-ups. These nineteen stories take you behind the scenes of classics and show you the other side.

When was Twisted Fairy Tales V2 published?
August 26th, 2011 by Wicked East Press
How did you learn about the Twisted Fairy Tales V2 open submission call?
I was listening to an episode of Flashes in the Dark (hosted by authors Lori Titus and Tonia Brown) and a publisher that was being interviewed mentioned that publishing companies like authors to have a writing resume. A great way to build a writing resume is to have short stories accepted for publication in various places. I had recently learned about the open submissions at Wicked East Press and decided to try my luck. Thankfully I was accepted
How long did it take you to write the story that was accepted?
When I decided to write a story for TFT V2, the submission call only had a few weeks remaining before the deadline. So I wrote the story over the next week, spent a week editing it and then submitted it with a few days to spare.
Can you tell us a little bit about your story?
The story of mine that is included is entitled The Tower and takes a look at the fairy tale of Rapunzel only with darker elements. According to the feedback I have received, it has a twist ending that nobody expected.
Questions about writing in general
Do you have any more projects that have been accepted or published?
A short story of mine, Blind Justice, was accepted into the Wicked Bag of Suspense Tales Anthology by Wicked East Press. I believe it is scheduled to be published early this year.
I also have a western themed short story entitled Pure Harvest that will be appearing in an upcoming chapter in a Western Steampunk web-serial called Railroad! by Tonia Brown. The first three volumes of Railroad! have already gone live and you can read them at http://steampunktrain.blogspot.com/
What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a published author?
Don’t be afraid to share your stories with the world. Some people will love your work and others won’t…so long as you put out a product that you are proud of, that is all that matters.
Do you have any projects that you are currently working on?
I am currently in the works of writing two YA paranormal fantasy novels. They are part of a series that all take place in the small town of Juniper Grove – which also happens to be where my blog gets its namesake. Though they are in a book series, each book is standalone.
