The Midnight Library by Damien Graves

Wednesday, May 7, 2014

Damien Graves has spent many years searching for the most spine-chilling stories in existence. Here are three more of his most terrible tales.

Lauren discovers that the truth hurts when a very big lie comes back to haunt her.

Craig and Brian board a train without buying tickets. Their final destination may prove TOO final.

Alexis attends a dangerous acting class in which the drama is no act.

Read. Scream. Repeat. Welcome to The Midnight Library.

Goodreads Library

Three scary stories packed into one bound book that make for a fun and quick read. If it is storming outside on an evening sometime, set the lights low, light a candle, and let the bone chilling excitement begin.

The writing for all three stories is rich and dark and definitely sets the proper tone for a good horror book. Of the three, my favorite was definitely the first one about the case of reinvented identity. I have seen so many kids try and fail at completely reinventing themselves and it was very entertaining yet terrible in all the right ways to see how the story panned out. Graves has a decent set of books going here. If you were a fan of the Goosebumps series by R.L. Stein then this will deifinitely be up your alley.
