Aron Warner is the Academy Award®-winning producer of the animated blockbuster “Shrek” series. Mr. Warner joined PDI/Dreamworks in 1997 working as the producer on the animated film, Antz. He is currently in partnership with director Andrew Adamson in Strange Weather where they and partner Jeff Fierson are developing a slate of live action and animated feature films and television shows. He, producing alongside James Cameron, just wrapped the Untitled Cirque Du Soleil 3-D project, which was written and directed by Adamson. Pariah is his first graphic novel series.

This is definitely a fun read.  The story begins with Brent giving a speech to his class concerning financial matters and how to save for a terrific lifestyle.  A normal teen speaking on finance may not be taken seriously; incidentally, Brent is not taken seriously.  However, Brent is not your average teen, he is a Vitro.  A Vitro has super intellect due to genetic manipulation.  There is a lab explosions...could the Vitros be the cause? The story really takes off from there. 

This comic was enjoyable.  There is not a lot of dialogue, more thoughts from Brent than anything else.  The pictures are detailed enough and the reader will understand what is going on in the story with minimal to no confusion.  The plot is very interesting, draws the reader in.  Brent is a likable character, the reader will be rooting for him to find out the truth behind the lab explosion.  This comic is recommended for teens and young adults.
