1)      Would you tell us a little more about yourself?
I live in Kentucky with my husband, son, and Chihuahua. I’ve been writing novels for over four years.

2)      What do you consider the best scene(s) in your book(s) from either No Shirt, No Shoes, No Spells or Rock ‘N’ Roll is Undead?
I love the dance scene in Rock ‘n’ Roll is Undead. I really felt the emotion from the characters. I won’t say too much because I don’t want to give anything away.

3)      Are there any character(s) you feel are like you the most?
Out of all of my books, I’m probably most like Larue from Me and My Ghoulfriends, although I don’t talk to spirits.

4)      What can readers expect from No Shirt, No Shoes, No Spells and Rock 'N' Roll is Undead?
I think my books are fun. If readers are looking for a light read, my books are just that.

5)      Magic appears in your novels a fair amount, do you believe in it in real life?
I believe in positive thinking, which can be powerful. But I don’t really believe in magic, no.

6)      If you were a paranormal creature, what would you choose and why?
A witch. Like Elly says in No Shoes, No Shirt, No Spells, being like Samantha on Bewitched would be great.

7)      If you could cast a type of spell (like Elly, to an extent), what would you cast and on who?
I’d love to cast spells for people like Elly. Just things to make their life easier. Health, love, and happiness.


8)Are you planning on another book any time soon and can you give us a hint about the plot?
I have follow-ups to all of my series coming out over the next year. Later this month, I’m releasing Ghouls Night Out. I have a new book I’m writing, but it’s super secret.

9) Give us three reasons why readers should read your book. I think they’re fun, quirky, and light-hearted.

10) *relevant question* Are you as depressed about the closing of Borders as the rest of us?
It is depressing, but not surprising to me. Publishers and bookstores need a new business model.

11) Can you give us a fun, little-known fact about yourself?
I won a talent contest for singing when I was fourteen.
