Edie Kramer has a score to settle with the beautiful people at Blackbriar Academy. Their cruelty drove her to the brink of despair, and four months ago, she couldn't imagine being strong enough to face her senior year. But thanks to a Faustian compact with the enigmatic Kian, she has the power to make the bullies pay. She's not supposed to think about Kian once the deal is done, but devastating pain burns behind his unearthly beauty, and he's impossible to forget.
In one short summer, her entire life changes, and she sweeps through Blackbriar, prepped to take the beautiful people down from the inside. A whisper here, a look there, and suddenly... bad things are happening. It's a heady rush, seeing her tormentors get what they deserve, but things that seem too good to be true usually are, and soon, the pranks and payback turns from delicious to deadly. Edie is alone in a world teeming with secrets and fiends lurking in the shadows. In this murky morass of devil's bargains, she isn't sure who—or what--she can trust. Not even her own mind...
Goodreads Summary
Revenge and vindictiveness run deep in this high school story on taking down the girls from the popular group. Girls can be horrible to each other in high school and this story dives into the drama that many girls face every day. Edie is spunky with attitude and it was fun reading about her coming up with ways to get her tormentors back. The plots are inventive and you will love every second of it.
I like to read books like this every once in a while and take them for what they are. They are a lot of fun reading about the ridiculousness of teenage life and how heightened emotions are at that age. The paranormal element adds a bit of flare that spices the story even more and keeps the excitement high. If you are into teen dramas with paranormal influence, this is a book you should check out.

I'm really surprised to read a review about this book in which it gets a good rating. It seems like so many people have a lot of problems with it.
-

I've been seeing a lot of reviews about this book and all of them are mixed-up reactions. Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward into reading this!

- I'm a young college student who has probably read over 5000 books over the course of my short life; some of the books were classics, some of the books were terrific, and some of the books were...misses. Even with the latter part I will always believe in the power of books to completely remove the reader from his/her present reality. Long Live Books! I would love to read and review books from just about any genre. To contact me: edysicecreamlover18 AT gmail DOT com Thank you for your interest! At this time, I can only accept paperback or hardcover. The finished review copies I receive are either kept in my personal collection or donated to several libaries, schools, or charities-I have no control over the finished review copies after donation. *I claim no ownership for any images used on this site.
