Dan Krokos

   False Memory Giveaway

Miranda wakes up alone on a park bench with no memory. In her panic, she releases a mysterious energy that incites pure terror in everyone around her. Except Peter, a boy who isn’t at all surprised by Miranda’s shocking ability.

Left with no choice but to trust this stranger, Miranda discovers she was trained to be a weapon and is part of an elite force of genetically-altered teens who possess flawless combat skills and powers strong enough to destroy a city. But adjusting to her old life isn’t easy—especially with Noah, the boyfriend she can’t remember loving.

Then Miranda uncovers a dark truth that sets her team on the run. Suddenly her past doesn’t seem to matter... when there may not be a future.

Dan Krokos’ debut is a tour-de-force of non-stop action that will leave readers begging for the next book in this bold and powerful new series.

  1. Thanks for the giveaway. I'd definitely wouldn't want to lose my childhood because it was the happiest time of my life.

  1. My mom, everything about her. My brother before he grew up. My dad and all his quirky jokes and stories. My lost pets and family. My friends. I don't even want to think about it! It's making me sad, haha.

I'd hate to loose the memories of those who have already passed away. It's even making me tear up to think this. Darn, now I can't see the verification words.

Such a cool story, i love these memory lost book, because, when doing it right, is always a mystery (since we only know what the protagonist knows.
    I wanna read it

  1. Mental impairment that affects memory would be a particularly tough experience. On one hand, you'd be unaware you forgot something, but on the other hand, you'd probably have a nagging suspicion here and there, like a glimpse into something.

Memory is tied to how a person identifies himself/herself. Not only would you lose the memories of all your loved ones, you'd lose yourself, your own identity, too. That would be horrific.

Wow. This really got me thinking. I'd love to read this and review it. Thank you for the opportunity.

Honestly? I'd miss all of the things I've learned over the years. If I lost my memory, I wouldn't care that I didn't know who my family was (I mean, I might feel bead because they're sad), but if I forgot all of my knowledge... how would I get by int he world?

  1. hana said...:

    If I were to lose my memory...oh no, I can't. I wouldn't want that.
But I think if I really were to lose my memory, I'd miss the registered thoughts of my mom's cooking. :( :)
But then of course, everyone who's very dear to me. ♥

    My family, no doubt. <3

  1. All of the wonderful memories of my amazing husband and our families. That would be the biggest thing.

  1. I think I'd miss my beliefs most. My family also, of course, but if I lost my memory I wouldn't know what I'm missing and I hope I would meet new people. But my beliefs are what make me who I am more so than the people around me do. Call me selfish, but I think I would miss myself.
