Insomnia
Jen Johansson
Instead of sleeping, Parker Chipp enters the dream of the last person he’s had eye contact with. He spends his nights crushed by other people’s fear and pain, by their disturbing secrets—and Parker can never have dreams of his own. The severe exhaustion is crippling him. If nothing changes, Parker could soon be facing psychosis and even death.
Then he meets Mia. Her dreams, calm and beautifully uncomplicated, allow him blissful rest that is utterly addictive. Parker starts going to bizarre lengths to catch Mia’s eye every day. Everyone at school thinks he’s gone over the edge, even his best friend. And when Mia is threatened by a true stalker, everyone thinks it’s Parker.
Suffering blackouts, Parker begins to wonder if he is turning into someone dangerous. What if the monster stalking Mia is him after all?

I usually do remember my dreams! I have the weirdest ones too! Like one time I had a dream that a giant T-Rex handed me a can of Pepsi, and another time airplanes were just free falling from the skies. I think it's because I am weird, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this massive giveaway!

That's a very good question. Yes, I always remember them. I have very vivid dreams and it's almost like I'm awake while dreaming but sleeping.
ReplyDeleteI don't get it either!
Thank you,
Alenette
I always remember my dreams. Mostly because they're almost always nightmares, lol.
ReplyDeleteNo, most of the time not. I wake up and I think about what I dreamt, most of it is gone already. And during the day I forget it completely.
ReplyDeleteI think you've put up the synopsis for Delirium by Lauren Oliver... But thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited for this book!! And nope, I never remember my dreams. I roll over and forget every detail.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, not really. I might have a vague idea but I never remember the details!
ReplyDelete@Eveline: Same here! I go through my dream right when I wake up, then forget about it when the day starts.
ReplyDeleteI usually can't remember my dreams when I wake up. Occasionally I do, especially if it's a nightmare, but mostly... no. No dreams for me.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember what happened in the dream but I usually remember the people in it or some place it occured
ReplyDeleteFirst 5 minutes after I wake up I remember,next 5 minutes-nothing!
ReplyDeleteI remember most of my dreams esp. the ones about zombies, snakes, and tornadoes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!!!!!
not really
ReplyDeletethis book sounds awesome! Thanks for sharing! I usually remember my dreams... not the details but the gist of them anyway...
ReplyDeleteI always forget shortly after unfortunately and fortunately...depending on the dream!
ReplyDeleteI've found that if I replay it immediately after I wake up, I can usually remember it later in the day. I also remember dreams really well when I have the same dream a second time. I recognize that I've gone through this scenario before, and it's pretty cool :)
ReplyDeleteI remember my dreams sometimes. I think that the reason for that is because those have some signifigance to my life somehow.
ReplyDeleteI rarely remember my dreams anymore, and I really miss them. I should try keeping a dream journal. I've been told if you do that you will remember them a lot more.
ReplyDeleteI start forgetting them pretty quickly unless they are especially traumatizing, which of course are the dreams I want to forget, lol.
ReplyDeleteI forget when I wake up but when I fall back asleep or in that half awake/sleep state I start to remember them all again.

I always seem to remember the dreams that are the weirdest. You know, the dreams you wake up from and immediately think, "what the hell was that?!"
ReplyDeleteI usually remember my dreams, but they've got long and complex storylines, not just nonsense, so a lot of details tend to go missing. Today's dream was interesting, but it's too much to describe. When I woke up I was still kinda in it, thinking, wow, this could be an awesome idea for a book! But the details are already dissipating -.-
ReplyDeleteI almost always remember my dreams. I've always been extremely interested in them because they are so vivid and imaginative. I've lived whole other lives in my dreams as if living past lives again in a new way. I've never been much for 'dream interpretations' but I keep a dream journal on my night stand in case I have a particularly good or bad dream that I just have to write down. I've been doing it since I was a teenager and when I go back and read those descriptions, I can still remember dreams from over 10 years ago which is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteI do usually remember my dreams and they are typically crazy and occasionally scary.
ReplyDeleteI rarely remember any of dreams, sadly...
ReplyDeleteI remember some of them when they are very vivid.
ReplyDeleteI usually remember my dreams, but they're always weird. Like really really weird. That is why I started a Dream Journal. I want to see if there is a pattern to this...

i never get enough sleep to dream anymore - regnod(at)yahoo(d0t)com
ReplyDeleteI believe in dreams. I had a dream the other night that I was being eaten alive by giant cockroaches. The next morning I went to work only to find that managment was now requiring even more micromanaging policies. So, must have been in my subconscious.
ReplyDeletewhen i am asleep i dont recall dreaming.. but if i get woken up and then fall back to sleep thats when i dream and remember them.. they are usually bizarre dreams.
ReplyDeleteI usually do remember my dreams and especially nightmares! But sometimes I don't even remember having a dream and then I see something and go "I think I dreamed this thing or that"

I remember my dreams more often than not, but usually in bits and pieces.
ReplyDeletenot usually
ReplyDeleteSometimes, especially when I take a nap.
ReplyDeleteQuite often, which is usually really cool, unless it's a nightmare. The last thing I dreamt about was sneaking in the utility room of the house we'll be moving in next month, and having a nosey while the tennants were still there. Yep, a totally weird and silly dream, but a utility room rocks so much that I don't mind one bit dreaming about it!
ReplyDeleteI only remember mine if something huge or shocking happens. Otherwise I forget them pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteRarely that too if it is either too pleasant or too frightful... but i never remember the exact details only few flashes
ReplyDeleteSometimes, yes. But most of the time,I forgot them.
ReplyDeleteI remember some of my dreams. I'll wake up in the morning, knowing that I woke up around midnight and remembered a dream, but now I can't. It makes my head hurt...
ReplyDeleteI usually do remember my dreams! I often dream that I've woken up and then realize I'm still dreaming (I often do this over and over again many times before I actually wake up).
ReplyDeletesometimes i remember...sometimes i don't...
ReplyDeleteYup. To this day I have vivid and crazy dreams. Thanks to that, I have all the material I'll ever need to write with.
ReplyDeletesometimes i remember, but usually i forget them
ReplyDeleteNot usually, but when I do remember when I first wake up I make sure that I don't forget it.
ReplyDeleteAlmost all the time. I also have reoccurring dreams with the same people. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThe only dreams I remember are the ones that I have over and over again.
ReplyDeleteI usually remember the feelings associated with the dreams, but not usually the specific details.
ReplyDeleteNot all of them, but I remember some of my weirdest dream clearly :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes I will remember my dreams and most of the time I don't remember them. And then I have a couple of dreams that have stayed with me for years and they feel so real.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being a part of this fun and very generous blog hop!!
Sometimes, but even when I do, they usually fade after a few hours of being awake.
ReplyDeleteSometimes...if they are vivid enough to wake me up. But mostly I forget about them the moment I open my eyes.
ReplyDeleteI always have dreams that predict future events in my life, and I only remember having them once the events occur.
ReplyDeleteI forget them immediately

ReplyDeleteIt's hit or miss. I remember some, I don't remember others. I remember more when I don't go to bed completely and totally exhausted.
ReplyDeleteI remember some of them. Especially the funny ones. :D
ReplyDeleteI always remember my dreams and i love it . When I wake up I write my dreams in a notebook :)
ReplyDeleteI tend to remember dreams that are scary and unpleasant :/
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do remember my dreams. When I do I usually tell my friends about them - I have such crazy dreams that they're apparently very entertaining to hear about. This usually helps me remember all the details of the dream.
ReplyDeleteI used to but not as much anymore.
ReplyDeleteOnly the ones which seem real do I bother remembering.
I usually don't remember my dreams!
ReplyDeleteI remeber about 30% of my dreams, but only some details that slowly fade away with memory.
ReplyDeleteI remeber about 30% of my dreams, but only some details that slowly fade away with memory.
ReplyDeleteI remember some of my dreams.

ReplyDelete99% of the time, I do remember my dreams, because I think about them as I wake up. I love remembering them, because often they are really, really weird, and make great stories!

Not only that I remember my dreams vividly, but sometimes they continue at the exact place where they stopped the previous night. Spooky! :D
