ReplyDeleteSince we have no family here, we celebrated Thanksgiving just as our little family of four. I admit, I really love celebrating with just us. It's such a small, simple celebration, but so meaningful to me. I really cherish this time with my children. They are growing up so fast. I do wish we could be near my family, though. I would love for them to be able to be around my grandfather. He's the best man I've ever met and could teach them so much. He's in his late 90s now, and it's so important for them to enjoy each other while they can. I miss him so much, too.
I work as an overnight retail manager, so unfortunately I have to work for the holidays. I did get to spend Thanksgiving at my mother-in-law's house though, so it was nice to not have to cook or clean.
