  Darkness Before Dawn
Synopsis:
Only sunlight can save us.

We built the wall to keep them out, to keep us safe. But it also makes us prisoners, trapped in what's left of our ravaged city, fearing nightfall.

After the death of my parents, it's up to me—as the newest delegate for humanity—to bargain with our vampire overlord. I thought I was ready. I thought I knew everything there was to know about the monsters. Then again, nothing could have prepared me for Lord Valentine . . . or his son. Maybe not all vampires are killers. Maybe it's safe to let one in.


Only one thing is certain: Even the wall is not enough. A war is coming and we cannot hide forever.

    Too many to list them all! My current faves are the Maker's Song series by Adrian Phoenix and the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward.

    Umm, this is a tough question for me. After reading The Twilight Series I became a bit weird toward vampires (I'm more of a werewolf girl!). Not that I don't love the series. I totally do. That's what got me reading again. I don't read many vampire books. Crazy? Yup. But if I had to choose from the ones I've read I'd go for the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz.

    Nobody does vampires like Anne Rice but, I do like M.L. Brennan's take on vampires in her Generation V book.

    It's hard to say, Maybe the Night World Series by L.J. Smith or the Vampire Academy series. I love vampire series, so it's hard. Is easier to ay which Vamp series that I've read I've hated the most.

    My favorite Vampire books are Twilight & Vampire Academy Series & House of Night Series & Blue Bloods Series and of course Darkness Before Dawn! After reading this book it went straight to my top favorite books!! Love the story line and just everything about this book! I CANNOT wait to read book 2 & 3!!     The Vampire Lestat is my all-time favorite vampire book by Anne Rice. But The Hollows by Kim Harrison is my favorite paranormal series.

    except for Twilight Haven't read many vampire books but my favourite is The Forever Girl. It is not exclusively vampire book but the male lead is amazing vampire :)

    My favorite vampire book is most definitely the beloved Twilight series. Without these books I don't believe I would be who am I today. Before Twilight I liked to read but Twilight is what brought me fully into the world of books. I fell in love with characters in ways I never had before.

    I honestly think the Twilight series are the only vampire books I've read.

    Oh, and The Mortal Instruments series (if that counts). It has vampires in it, just not at the focal point. If that counts, that one is my fave!
